Atmos brought something special to the global psytrance scene in the 90's. Namely, "space." Not space as in the yonder regions of the universe, but space as in room to breath, think, and dance. His deep and clean production sparked the onset of the "Swedish Sound" in psytrance; a stark contrast from the layers & arpeggios that had become hallmarks of goa and psytrance music. All his releases are a great compliment to full-on trance and his sets from the last several years as a DJ previewed for the world the current convergence of the progressive psy and the progressive house world. Spacetribe
Olli Wisdom is the multifaceted & multitalented musical magician behind Spacetribe. In an alternate incarnation, he is the founder and lead singer of the seminal post-punk band Specimen. And from his London club, the Batcave, he helped launch what was to become the Goth movement of the 80s and beyond. In contrast, it is through Spacetribe’s music that one can hear (and in some cases “see”) the spiraling and sparkling magic of what comes from Olli’s soul. In a scene where it can be hard to discern one artist from another, there is no mistaking a Spacetribe song. At any party or in any set, Spacetribe is like a bolt of lightning on the dance floor.
